* Tousset travelled to England in place of Joseph Delvecchio on short notice and without any preparation. The French team had only left the previous day at 16:00, and arrived on the day of the match at 5:00 a.m.
Brighton gave the French team a grand welcoming, and the tram which brought the team to the hotel had been draped with the French national colours. After conceding 48 goals all together, France finally scored their first against England, although this was their fourth two-digit loss to them.

Brighton dió a la selección francesa una gran bienvenida, y el tranvía que llevó al equipo al hotel había sido cubierto con los colores de la selección francesa. Después de encajar 48 goles en total, Francia finalmente marcó su primer tanto contra Inglaterra, aunque ésta fuese su primera derrota con dos dígitos contra ellos.
* Kurzfristig und völlig unvorbereitet trat Tousset anstelle von Joseph Delvecchio die Reise mit nach England an. Das französische Team war erst am Vortag 16 Uhr abgereist und am Spieltag frühmorgens 5 Uhr angekommen.
Das französische Team wurde in der Stadt Brighton grandios empfangen und die Straßenbahn, die das Team ins Hotel brachte, war mit den französischen Nationalfarben geschmückt. Nach 48 Gegentreffern gelang den Franzosen das erste Tor gegen die Engländer, die dennoch zum 4. Mal zweistellig gewann.
* Tousset s’est rendu en Angleterre, au dernier moment et sans préparation, à la place de Joseph Delvecchio. L’équipe française était seulement partie la veille à 16h00 et est arrivée le jour du match à 5h00.
Brighton réserva un accueil grandiose à la formation française. Le tram, qui les emmena à l’hôtel, était décoré aux couleurs tricolores. Après avoir encaissé 48 buts, la France inscrivit enfin son premier but contre l’Angleterre, qui l’emporta toutefois pour la quatrième fois après avoir marqué plus de dix buts.
